Morboria keeps creating with the same enthusiasm as 41 years ago, bringing audiences good theatre, then and now. Don Antonio decides to marry off his daughter Isabel to don Lucas, a provincial buffoon — self-interested, foolish, narcissistic, but a millionaire, which suits don Antonio's family perfectly well. Doña Isabel, young, refined and raised in the capital, cannot accept such a fate, as she is secretly in love with don Pedro, a mysterious young man who saved her life when she fell into the Manzanares river. From there unfolds a fascinating game of hidden identities, jealousy and misunderstandings, with journeys between Madrid, Illescas and Toledo and unexpected encounters that turn the play into a genuine whirlwind on stage.
